PoE 2 0.2.0 Bleed Bow Build Tier List

S Tier

Ranger (Deadeye)

Ranger is the strongest class for bleed bow because you can ascend into a Deadeye. Deadeye just has a crazy amount of synergy with frenzy stacking and that's what our build does towards the end game with using spiral volley and barrage/snipe. We put Deadeye into S tier on POE 2 bleed bow build tier list because of the change to the thrilling chase attendance notable. Previously, in the first patch, there was a 50% chance that when you consumed frenzy charges, you would get double the effect. This was changed in 0.2.0 to a 100% chance. So when you consume frenzy charges, you count as having consumed twice as many. This essentially means that when you are consuming your frenzy charges with either spiral volley or snipe barrage, these Deadeye pretty much double the effects, which is ridiculous. If you have 6 frenzies, it counts as using 12 frenzies. Or if you barrage normally with 6 or 7 arrows, it suddenly doubles to 14 arrows. Overall, it's an unbeatable ascendancy node with Tailwind, additional projectiles, and additional projectile damage.

A Tier

Mercenary (Witch Hunter)

Following it closely in A tier of this Path of Exile 2 0.2.0 bleed bow tier list, we would put mercenary witch hunter. This is the classic build that gets some nice buffs this patch, especially with the  sorcerer reward being a bit stronger than before, as well as concentration adding more damage. We don't know if these two changes affect us that much because we don't really specialize into those nodes. Potentially, we could grab those now and not take the explode node because we have a new herald of blood skill gem. 

Huntress (Amazon)

We've also put Amazon into the A tier on POE 2 Bleed Bow league starter ranking. It seems like a very solid ascendency choice especially for the one things that we want to do. It has a good balance of both offense and defense. If you want to go Amazon, go with predatory instinct first, then critical strike, then penetrate, and then the last ascendency node could either be in for the kill or potentially a defensive node like Storm Panther.

B Tier

Mercenary (Tactician)

In the B tier, we have Tactician and Ritualist. We can't really say much about these ascendencies because they're not in the game yet. We haven't actually had a chance to test it. But they have potential since there are some pretty cool synergies you can do with the Tactician with the supporting fire that pretty much summons like a rain of arrows on command. 

Huntress (Ritualist)

The Ritualist has some cool effects as well with getting an additional ring slot and stacking ring and amulet effect. You might be able to do some cool things with amulets, depending on if there's new unique amulets coming out in this league. Also, there's the potential for using blood boils. However, blood boils might be a bit of a bait and an overrated skill. But we don't know until we try it.

PoE 2 0.2.0 Bleed Gem Changes

1. Combat Frenzy

Combat Frenzy now has gain a frenzy charge when you freeze, eletrocute or pin an enemy, no more than once every 5.3-4.1 seconds at gem levels 8-20 (previously 2.48-1.58).

2. Spiral Volley

Spiral Volley now has 30% more damage per Frenzy Charge consumed (previously 20%).

3. Barrage

Barrage repeats now deal 50% less damage at all gem levels (previously 23-15% at gem levels 5-20). 560-410% of repeated skills's attack time is now added to this skill's cooldown, to a maximum of 30 seconds at gem levels 5-20 (previously 1440-1215%). Quality now causes repeats to deal +0-5% more damage (previously +0-15%).

PoE 2 0.2.0 Bleed Passive Changes

There's new bleed clusters throughout the tree near the ranger start. There's also going to be a Crimson Assault Keystone passive before the current patch. Getting aggravate was kind of annoying and getting it guaranteed was very hard. Crimson Assault gives you aggravated bleed but makes your bleed duration from 4 down to 1 second. You can still increase the bleed duration, but it's going to be much harder than before because your base is now 1 second. Getting a guaranteed source of aggravate is incredibly strong because it makes your bleed do double damage. It's something every single bleed build will need. 

Obviously, there are other ways of getting aggravated bleeds as well, this might be a really good source of getting aggravated bleeds. If you can't get it anywhere else on your tree or if you can't get it on your gear. The downside might be a little bit too high by making your duration 1 second. It could be really good for builds that hit really fast so that they keep reapplying bleeds. For us, it might be good only in the early game, and then in the end game, you'll get other sources of aggravation, so you probably won't want this because the idea is to only shoot one big bleed and let the enemy bleed out.
