In Skull and Bones, armor is an important part of ship upgrades and customization. Season 2 introduces a lot of new armor, read our SaB Season 2 armor tier list, we've ranked the best armor and explained where to get them.
Armor refers to equippable Skull and Bones items for ships that provide defense and damage resistance against different combat threats by reducing incoming damage. There are different tiers of ship armor ranging from basic to advanced to exotic. Each armor lists the type of damage mitigation it provides, such as piercing, explosive, flooding, etc. Higher tier armors provide higher percentages of damage mitigation. Armor can be unlocked by increasing Infamy level or crafted at blacksmiths once the required resources and blueprint are obtained. Next, let's dive into best Skull & Bones Season 2 armors ranking!
1. Stormwoven Symphony
A full orchestral upon the waves. May their voices be your shield.
This armor has explosive, flooding, and piercing protection all at 25%. It does have a perk, this is where it could be one of the best armor in Skull & Bones Season 2. Potentially, this perk could be really good with a Brigantine ramming build. The reason is that Crescendo has to hold brace charges up to a sonic attack, dealing up to 6,000 damage to surrounding hostiles up to 125m away when fully charged. Technically when you hit someone with a ramming build, it hits so hard when you ram.
If you release the Crescendo at the same time, you'll get an additional 6,000 damage. This could work again with Anow, you're getting Bombard or people trying to crew attack you. The minute they're trying to crew attack you, hold the brace, you can release it and get 6,000 damage. However, it's not effective because 6,000 damage is not a lot considering every time you fire a bombard, you're hitting about 2,000 to 3,000 damage. If on a raming build, it might be really good because you can just release it on the ram and could cause extra damage which overall should really cause a lot of harm.

2. Buccaneer's Dath
Promises etched into the hull prove sturdier than any piercing shot.
Buccaneer's Dath is the best SaB Season 2 best armor. It has a higher armor rating than Stormwoven Symphony of 1200. This one has explosive, flooding, fire, and piercing so it does cover a lot more across the board but lower percentages. The perk is so broken that destroys a target and confers the blood and gold status on your ship which increases weapon damage and armor by 25% for 30 seconds. This does not deplete if you destroy another ship within 30 seconds. There's no cool-down, it constantly resets.
If you're doing PvE and you're using a Sambuck, you could blow up the ship very easy. You're immediately getting that damage and armor buff plus. If you're in PvP and you're going against someone, you can look at small ships in the ocean, and quickly blow them up. The person that's fighting you has to deal with 25% extra damage and armor that you have got against them which is absolutely strong.

3. Rhapsody of the Deep
None may harm a captain of such extravagant tastes.
Rhapsody of the Deep has 1150 armor, explosive 20%, flooding 35%, and fire 20%. Rhapsody of the Deep is the best Skull and Bones Season 2 Amor against flooding build. Especially it should be good in PvP because of the top perk which is Unsinkable. This might be really good in Brigantine, because you've got more armor. While bracing, the effects of being afflicted with flooding are negated and reduce damage from torpedoes by 25% and buy an additional 25% while bracing. If you're going against a torpedo build this season, they're going to be pretty strong since they're going to stop 50% of that damage.

It's got really high armor rating 1284, explosive 23, fire 33, and piercing 17. Its perk reduces the duration of a blaze effect by 33%. So the Abyssal armor might be a key armor for people to use.

It has got 1230 armor, flooding 23%, fire 18%, and piercing 35%. Every knot of sailing speed increases armor by 1% and reduces weak point damage by 20%. If you are going against someone who's hitting precision shots or if you're constantly in motion using a Brigatine in PvP and PvE, you're following a convoy that always has bonus armor. However, you do need a little bit of skill where you need to proc the bonus armor by killing something by keeping it in motion without torn sales. This is giving you a load of extra armor.
