The new World of Warcraft Plunderstorm system is a battle royale mode in patch 10.2.6. In this WOW Dragonflight Plunderstorm guide, we want to go through all the different rewards that you will be able to get during this event and how to get them.
Dragonflight 10.2.6 Plunderstorm event is a time-limited 60-player battle royale event. It showcased a fully-realized separate battle royale game mode integrated into World of Warcraft. It featured its own dedicated login screen and lobby system where players could form parties and invite friends. Within the game, it offered core battle royale mechanics like solo/duo queueing on the tropical pirate-themed island, leveling up and collecting loot, and a spectator system to watch after dying. Key aspects included no existing character or gear for an even playing field, disabled addons, and custom abilities like double jump and no fall damage for mobility. Both PvP combat and PvE monster encounters were available. A personalized UI and UX optimized the experience.
Dragonflight Plunderstorm Event Locations
The location where the Plunderstorm pirate-themed battle royale event took place was within the in-game map of the Arathi Highlands. Scour the map and try to be the last pirate standing while dashing across the Arathi Highlands to find abilities and upgrades while plundering loot just to survive!
Dragonflight Plunderstorm Event Rewards
The Plunderstorm event introduces 40 ranks of Renown that can be earned with Keg Leg's Crew. This may seem like a lot but progressing through the ranks should be very quick - approximately 4 matches or less to earn a new Renown level.
Blizzard wants the rewards to feel substantial, so casual players can expect to earn a new Renown level every day on average. More dedicated players will zip through the ranks much faster.
Each Renown level has an associated reward unlocked, whether it's a mount, pet, armor set, weapon, title or other cosmetic item.
Everything you earn via Renown in the event is also unlocked in the regular transmog collection system for your main World of Warcraft characters.
There are also exclusive rewards for players of Wrath of the Lich King Classic, such as a pet and mount.
Some of the notable rewards that were highlighted originally include the Plunderlord Parrot mount, Bubbles pet, pirate-themed transmog sets, and goodies for both retail and classic players.
Progressing through the ranks should be a quick and rewarding experience for all players, whether they participate casually or more dedicatedly in the fun new Plunderstorm game mode.

Dragonflight Plunderstorm Event Tips
Focus on gaining levels early by looting treasure piles, killing enemies and opening chests for experience. Higher level means more health and damage.
Prioritize elite enemies as they provide more rewards and experience. Track them on the minimap.
Loot golden chests for large experience bonuses and gear. Magic chests also drop abilities.
Fire Whirl and Rhyme Arrow abilities are strong choices due to reliable damage without needing to aim.
Repel and Fade to Shadow are useful utility skills for defense, engagement and disengaging.
Learn ability counters - Repel can stop Fire Whirl, Fade to Shadow to avoid enemy attacks.
Avoid taking damage where possible early to conserve health pots for late game.
Heal with pots using T key. Keep an eye on storm location to not get caught in it.
third party other players fights if possible rather than engaging directly.
Movement abilities help in combat - jump, strafe, move behind enemies.
Higher level abilities from duplicates do more damage and have lower cooldowns.
Collect rewards for alts like mounts, pets by achieving top placements.
Have fun experimenting with different approaches - aggression vs. avoidance can both work.
Dragonflight Plunder Farming Tips
Queue up for a battleground or arena match. This will port you into the Dragon Isles zone.
When the match starts, quickly complete the "Captain's Orders" objective. These typically involve killing mobs, collecting items, etc.
Once you've finished the Captain's Orders, let yourself get killed by other players or mobs. Don't drag out the match longer than needed.
When you die, you'll leave the match and earn plunder rewards. Rinse and repeat from step 1.
For extra plunder, try to land near elite mobs that can be one-shot for quick kills. Loot any chests or collect plunder items you pass.
Focus only on the minimum needed in each match - complete orders and die. Don't get sidetracked looting unless it's very convenient.
Stick to busy zones like mines where you can rapidly start/finish matches via elite mobs or other players.
