D2R Ladder Season 5 Start Date & Season 4 End Date - When Will Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 5 Reset

For players who are always focusing on the Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder system and those who are going to return and start the next season, it makes sense to keep track of the Ladder schedule and updates. Here we want to share the estimated D2R Ladder Season 5 start date and Season 4 end date, along with the release of 2.8 Patch (PTR), and update the official time promptly.

D2R Ladder Season 5 Start Date - When Is Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 5?

Now we have experienced two months into Ladder S4 of Diablo 2 Resurrected, when will D2R Season 5 start and reset? Blizzard has not revealed any official information, but there is an estimated time that gets closer to the actual release date. As you know, the team is aimed to reset a new Ladder season every four months, while Season 1 runs longer than five months and Season 3 only lasts shorter than three months, and Season 2 works about four months, considering the whole release plan and other games developed by Blizzard, we assume that everything will return to normal after the launch of Diablo IV, the Season 4 is very possible to last around full four months. Some players might complete their character progression to a certain stage and come back to D2R content. So the Ladder Season 5 in Diablo 2 Resurrected is expected to start in early September of 2023, not overlapping the beginning of Diablo 4 Season 1 and Diablo 3 Season 29.

D2R Ladder Season 4 End Date - When Does Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 4 End?

Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder Season 4 became available on May 4-5, the exact time is determined by areas and time zones. Along with that, the Season 3 of Ladder ended and all Ladder characters were transferred into Non-Ladder ones. The previous Season always come to a close with the beginning of the next one, so it is very likely to have D2R Season 4 ended in early September of 2023 as well.

D2R 2.8 Patch (PTR) Release Date

There are even no new D2 items and significant changes coming into Diablo 2 Resurrected Patch 2.7 and Season 4, the team did not implement a PTR, but if they are going to experiment with some new functions and items in the next Patch, we can expect D2R 2.8 PTR in 2023 August, before the official Patch and Ladder S5. And the D2R Patch 2.8 should also be released in September, near the start of Season 5.
