As you progress through the game, you will need to unlock new tiers to advance to harder levels. In Diablo 4, there are a total of four World Tiers, each with its own unique challenges and rewards. When you first start Diablo 4, you will only have access to World Tier 1 and 2. However, you will need to complete a series of steps if you want to ascend to the higher tiers of Diablo 4. How to Unlock World Tier 3 in Diablo 4

Here are the steps you need to know if you want to unlock Diablo 4 nightmare dungeons or do the Diablo 4 World Tier 3 unlock in general.

- In order to get to World Tier 3, you have to painstakingly beat the entire campaign including the epilogue. In addition to that, you’ll also receive a new Priority Quest in Kyovashad called "World Tier 3 Nightmare." It states complete the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon, this needs to be completed on a World Tier 2 in order for you to unlock a World Tier 3. So come to the World tier statue and change over to 1 World Tier 2. Then make your way up to this dungeon. This quest is a Capstone Dungeon that players can complete at the cathedral in Kyovashad.

- The first challenge you'll face is the boss fight where there are 4 bosses all at once. And generally the way that you're going to go about this one is you're going to kill the smaller one first. Ideally, you’ll go for these ones over here the Sorcerer ones, because the position in particular can revive people, so you should kill that one first. And depending on your classes running away for cooldowns and the big guy has the attack right there and you just should dodge that, that will do a crazy amount of damage. So other than that, though it's basically take out the position and then deal with the other ones, and another thing to know is the magician one, so the physician and the inquisitor will shoot at you from the grave, so you got to be careful of that. 

- After that, you'll teleport to another dungeon where you have to slay all of the enemies in the Reliquary of Erudition. 

- After defeating all the enemies, you'll get to fight the curator and he is absurdly strong. This guy has actual good attack patterns and lots of fancy abilities. So if you're high enough level and you've played the game long enough, you're skilled enough at it, it should be totally fine. 

- Once you beat him, you'll have completed the Cathedral of Light and then you'll be able to swap to nightmare mode World Tier 3. 

- So, head back to Kyovershad, there's a World tier statue in the center town and you'll be able to select Nightmare and hit select. Now, World Tier 3 is unlocked.

How to Unlock World Tier 4 in Diablo 4

To get World Tier 4 in Diablo IV, you will need to do the following things:

- Unlock World Tier 3 by completing the campaign.

- Defeat the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon in the Northeastern Dry Steppes on World Tier 3 difficulty. And that is the fastest way to World Tier 4.

- Recommended for: Level 70+

- Ancestral items and new unique items can drop

- Enemies are more fearsome

- Monsters give 200% increased experience

- Monsters drop 15% more gold

- Monsters overcome 40% resistance

Bonus Tips

Players who unlock World Tier 3 and World Tier 4 will unlock the next tier of renown farming. This allows them to claim the later renown reward, which are typically an extra skill pint, and paragon points.
