New World Best Solo PVE Builds 2023 - Best Weapon Combos for Solo in New World 2023

Solo play in New World is another feature that's more accessible here than in some other RPG-based MMOs. The game has a strong survivalist angle and it's easy to level in the wilderness without joining a party. There's the option of roaming the countryside a lonesome knight doing good, or a hermit dedicated to their solitary life, and all of these options are possible in Aeternum. Then what is the best build for solo play? Which are the best weapon combos for solo? Here are the recommended best New World solo player builds in 2023. These builds are not meant for running mutations, they work great for regulars if you're a new level 60 just starting out. But they are meant primarily for solo play, with survivability in mind, more than raw damage. The reason for choosing the gear is that we want to find gear that is easily accessible stuff anyone could get with some effort. These builds are really great for returning players.

Greatsword/War Hammer Solo PVE Build, Solo World Group Bosses, Solo Elite Zones, Early Game 60 Build

War Hammer/Greatsword Solo PVE Build Attributes & Stats:

  • Strength: 315

  • Dexterity: 100

  • Intelligence: 5

  • Focus: 5

  • Constitution: 100

Run 315 strength, 100 dex and 100 constitution. The main reason for this is because of the grid we get from the strength, then a bit of extra damage from the dex. Have 100 constitution to keep hit points a bit higher for the solo stuff.

Best Weapon Perks for Greatsword Build Solo

Lean pretty heavily into the onslaught tree because we generally only really rely on these skills to clear groups or finish things up. But we do take a few very useful perks from defiance. Blade honing is great because you end up stacking a nice amount of greatsword buffs from the onslaught attacks and the additional damage is good for both killing and for healing. And unflinching blade is a must, because we mainly use trenchant recovery during the more difficult bosses. So we are heavy attacking almost non-stop. So keep maximum bleeds on the target at all times thanks to this. Perfect vigilance is an amazing perk to have because we go right in and face tank the hits, it keeps fortify up on us almost all the time. Because when we trench, we go full health, then take a hit and get fortified and then it repeats, like a never-ending cycle keeping fortify on me at all times.

Best Weapon Perks for War Hammer Solo Build

Everything we have selected here revolves around weakening, slowing and basically seeing all the enemies and bosses we’re up against, while at the same time increasing damage per swing. This is because we use Warhammer in much the same way as the Greatsword. The difference here though is that the Warhammer is more of a focus damage for strong solo engines with less AOE. It's mainly for fighting things like Heliopolis bosses and stuff like that. Otherwise, we just stick to the great sword.

Best Hatchet Build Weapon Perks for Solo

Go full Berserker for emergencies when things go terribly wrong and we need to buy some time to heal, or change it to a much more range build and take rending throw instead of a few of the Berserker perks, and use it as a spear to weaken enemies. It's not as effective as a spear, but it gets the job done. So overall, a pretty simple setup. The way everything works together really pays off making enemies take increased damage, has the side effect of healing more, because the trenchant recovery on both Warhammer and Greatsword is based on a percent based damage thing.

Other best solo builds New World 2023 collected from Google:

1. The Trapper Zoner (Spear + Musket)

Attributes & Stats:

  • Strength: 5

  • Dexterity: 300

  • Intelligence: 5

  • Focus: 5

  • Constitution: 100

Both the spear and musket are strong suits for the Trapper Zoner setup. Coupled with that, when it comes to attribute distribution, all attribute investments will be in dexterity and constitution on a 3:1 ratio. Dexterity is the primary scaling attribute for both Spear and Musket. This makes the duo a force to reckon with in both PBE and PVE.

Weapon Perks:

The Musket offers great ranged options and the Trapper skill is helpful in keeping the enemy at bay. But the Trapper Zoner lacks significant AOE damage and can struggle against mobs if kiting is not done right. While skills like the Sweep and Sticky Bomb do help out to an extent, it’s not as reliable. The build will rely solely on critical chance and critical hits, hence adorning a light set is highly recommended to boost damage.

2. The Knight Of The Quest Builds

For those that play solo but still want to experience some fun RP, even if it's just creating a detailed backstory, there's the figure of the noble knight from medieval history. These classes wear heavy armor and can heal themselves, so they're an ideal choice for a solo player.

Healer And Teacher

- Attributes: Focus is important for this benevolent visitor, who always carries a healing staff and looks for ways to help their fellow humans with it.

- Professions: Arcana is one possibility, to ensure that healing potions and other benevolent concoctions are readily available. An Armorer that specializes in plate is another viable choice.

- Weapons: Carrying two healing staves since they do have some limited offensive abilities. For those that prefer more offense, consider a Void Gauntlet, which scales with Focus and Intelligence.

The Avenger

- Attributes: Strength is the easy choice here because this knight is all about doing damage.

- Professions: Mining gets buffs from a high Strength Attribute, and this is the type of class that wears and has to repair a lot of plate armor and metal weapons.

- Weapons: Two-handed axes, greatswords, and big hammers are part of what makes this an intimidating build and one that's both fun and interesting for solo players.
