Diablo 4 Beta Progress Carry Over

Before getting into the leveling, what you should know is that any progress that you make in Early Access (Pre-Order) Beta will be transferred over to the Open Beta scheduled at the end of March, but it will be wiped after that, so it will not carry over to the full game when it releases in June. You could actually level up to 25 and start saving gear for other classes, if you are most interested in Necromancer or Druid.

In terms of 1-25 leveling in Diablo IV Beta, here are some of the best and fastest ways from Veiled Shot | Diablo you should try to farm as much XP as possible. There are lots of hidden mechanics you may not know and probably make you get to the level cap quickly to experience more skills and gear. 

1. Monster XP

In Diablo IV, the way XP works is similar to that in Diablo 3, we're going to be killing a ton of monsters that's like 99 of the game and monsters give a base experience that goes up as you level up, it pretty similar to most MMOs, the higher level monsters that you're fighting, the more XP you are going to earn, but that is extremely important to note also elites are going to give a little bit more experience, if the level of your character is equal to the monster level, you're going to get a normal amount of experience, however, if that monster level is below your character level, you will actually get a reduction in experience, if those monsters are a higher level above, then you're gonna get more experience, there is an experience boost once you fight higher level monsters, this means that you're going to want to hunt down higher level monsters, it looks to be that you could get roughly about 30 additional experience.

2. Difficulty XP

Diablo 4 has two difficulties in beta, the base difficulty and then the veteran difficulty, the veteran difficulty is going to increase the damage that the enemies are doing and their AI looks like however their health pools should remain the same, and what this means is if you're going to go to the higher difficulty, you're going to have to avoid dying, because if you die, it's not necessarily anything super bad, but you will lose time, then you're gonna have to go back and get you in the same spot and start farming monsters, but if you're at least somewhat confident or you're at least willing to try it, you're gonna get a 20 experience boost by going to that difficulty, so in order to level up fast in D4 beta, it is recommended to go ahead and try it out for fast XP farming and leveling. Also, if you feel it is too hard, you can head back to the beginning or base difficulty.

3. Group XP

Other than the monster and difficulty XP, the group experience is actually insane in Diablo 4, first off any XP that you kill or any monster that you kill is going to give that XP to every party member, whether you hit it once or if you hit it zero times, but what's interesting and this is very different about this remote is that all experience is shared zone-wide since this is an open world you're actually going to get basically four times the XP, which means you can actually leech XP. So if you're playing with a group, you got a couple of friends with, you have their farm and you can take rotations if someone wants to go out. The optimal way from this glitch is to split up your group and then hit different areas around the map and level up that way.

4. Events

One of the most important things you should do is the events, the events on the map will be depicted by an orange circle, which means event run to it and do it, when you finish events,  you're gonna get massive experience and potentially crafting materials, some equipment and a bunch of D4 gold, these things can be used in the second part of the beta next week. If you want to farm more gear, this is the perfect way to do it, and it's going to be the best way to level up in Diablo 4 beta.

Overall, it is recommended to farm higher level monsters and choose a higher game difficulty for constantly larger amounts of XP, in addition to that, you can also gain some bonus experience points from different ways, such as the events and group or zone XP.
