Best TOTY Player Cards in MUT 23

- Derwin James JR: Derwin is by far number one the best at his position even with free safety, he's still the best even with Minkah coming out, he got free Pick Artist, free Goal Line Stuff, and free Run Stopper. You're gonna probably use Pick Artist on the card and do get one AP Mid Zone, and one AP Deep Out Zone, which is really nice. If you're playing zone, you have a mid-zone or flat zone, if you're playing over the top, you have deep out zone or pick artists to help you out over the top, he's six foot two with 98 speed, this card is the best TOTY card in Madden 23. 

- Nick Bosa: Nick Bosa already has a really good card in the game, he was the best right end, and now he got a new TOTY card, the only difference is going to be that he does get three ability slots compared to his honors card and there might be some slight speed differences, he's gonna have the same traits. The 98 OVR Nick Bosa is going to be pretty good and is technically the best pass rusher in the game, all the abilities on the card are good, he is able to run Edge Threat Elite, Double or Nothing, No Outsiders, and Extra Credit. 

- Sauce Gardner: he got On The Ball for free, Pick Artist for free, Chuck Out for free and Outside Shade for 1 AP, and Acrobat for 1 AP. If we're looking at the stats and his build, Sauce is the best option no theme team among all of the Team of the Year cornerback and is the best cornerback in the game, so he will be put in the S-tier.

- Patrick Surtain II: he got Deep Out Zone KO, Deep Route KO, Outside Shade, Mid Zone, Medium Route, Acrobat, etc., Sauce gets cheaper outside shade compared to Patrick, and also Sauce is a little bit taller, however, Surtain will be a better tackler, this card is the top tier cornerback option and if these abilities appeal to you, you can pick this card. He will be put next to Sauce Garner, Sauce might work a lot better for people's schemes but Deep Out is a very popular option, so if you need that, you can go with Patrick Surtain II.

- Micah Parsons is gonna be one of the more versatile cards in the game, Micah always has good Zone and he's a very good pass rusher. He also has great speed, which is what you expect. 

- Jalen Ramsey: free Pick Artist, free Deep Out Zone KO, 2 AP Inside Shade, 1 AP Outside Shade, so you're actually able to run inside and outside shade on this card, which makes him super unique, and probably he might be the best man-to-man corner in the game.

- Josh Allen: this is a superior quarterback option from the Team of the Year promo, he has really good abilities, such as free Fastbreak and free Gunslinger, Set Feet Lead, Hot Route, and Fearless for 4 AP, which is a super elite setup, he's also got 94 speed with these stats is just insane.

- Fred Warner: The 99 OVR MLB Fred Warner is a TOTY LTD card, he received the Most Valuable Virtual Player honor in the Team of the Year voting, when it comes to the stats and abilities of this card, 97 speed, 98 acceleration, he only does get 49ers Team Chems, but he has the ability with him being in 99 overall to get Lurker for free and Enforcer for free and if you want to, you could also run Mid Zone for one AP. In the game, he can be put in the S-tier.
