With the current changes applied in recent patches, the build is in its strongest version, and it truly is a force to be reckoned with! This is a great build for clearing Terror Zones due to having practically infinite throw quantities provided by Throw Mastery! Using Gimmershred, the best part about double throw with the changes they made to it is that you can use ethereal items that do not have any replenish quantity at all and not run out. And once we equip Gimmershred, we can gain a hundred quantity on both of them, you are infinite on double throw around skill level 16 as long as you have a decent hit chance. Because they change it, so that you both have a chance to not consume when you throw and also you replenish quantity on critically striking. So since we're using this with a 30% chance to crit and we're also using Highloard’s Wrath, we're creating somewhere around 40 to 50% of the time and on top of that, we are not consuming over 50% of the time. Put those together in your infinite on ethereal weapons without replenish quantity. The big thing here on this weapon is that not only do they have a good decent base weapon damage as well as increased attack speed, but they also carry a ton of Elemental damage. For this build, we're focusing on the fire damage because the best way to build anything is to focus on one element and then build your resistances, build your sunder charm and build everything else around it. Opt for a 4-socketed armor, you need at least 15 increased attack speed in one D2R jewel on your kit, to be able to reach the max attack frame breakpoint with frenzy. But a four-socket armor allows you to put 3 other facets into it. Not only is this incredibly important for the plus to elemental damage in the minus enemy resistance, but each facet actually carries a really decent amount of flat elemental damage as well. For the mercenary, we are using might aura mercenary, so that we can get an even larger increase to our overall physical damage on the build. We're using chains of Honor and it's for two reasons, the+2 to skills is going to increase the effectiveness of his might aura which isn't a ton but it is getting you about 10 to 20 additional enhanced damage. The other thing though is that not only does Chains of Honor D2R item come along with a lot of its own additional survivability, but the life leech on chains or honor is really important when we're using flickering flame on the mercenary.
