What time NBA 2K23 Season 5 is expected to start and what potential rewards are going to be offered to players for level 1 to level 40 of MyTEAM and MyCAREER?

NBA 2K23 starts a new season about every six weeks, Season 4 kicks off on January 13, 2023, and after the running of six weeks, the release date of 2K23 Season 5 is expected to be February 24, 2023, on Friday. The schedule is also similar to the 2K22 seasons.

In the upcoming NBA 2K23 Season 5, a ton of new rewards will be available throughout the whole season in MyTEAM, more than 400 new cards are being added including ‘23 NBA: Series 2 cards with 30 new Pink Diamond Collection Complete Rewards, as well as brand-new Domination tier cards.

Now we are in Season 4 of NBA 2K23, three out of four seasons have been basically similar and themed, we had the Halloween theme season where we got the skeleton and Jabbawockeez outfit, and we also had the Christmas-themed season we got a Santa suit, then the Go-Kart from 2K22 turned into the Golf Cart this year. In addition, in last season we got the Drone can be unlocked as a level 40 reward and used as a teleport tool, last year we got a tiger. The same season probably works in a similar way, but they want to make it a little bit better this year.  

Season 5 is coming soon, there is no official announcement regarding the rewards now, but each season there is a leveling system in MyTEAM and MyCAREER, leveling up will earn you NBA MT points, tokens, packs, and more rewards as well as powerful cards for level 40 in MyTEAM, and in MyTEAM, you have chance to get outfits, emote packs, limited-time XP coin and special rewards for level 40. 

For NBA 2K22, we did get affiliation mascots in Season 5, and the NBA mascots in Season 7, which is two seasons before the game is over, the YouTuber HAUNTING thinks we might get mascots sooner than we did last year just because of how lit the NBA is with LeBron breaking the reward and all trades are going down, so NBA mascots do have a chance of coming out this season. If you want to get that, you’ll need to spend over a hundred thousand VC per mascot, which is not a good value if there is not long before the end of the game. Overall, we are very likely to get affiliations or NBA mascots in NBA 2K23 Season 5, they would be coming back this year.
