#15 Kante - he has definitely experienced a stock drop
#14 Jones - he's been shot nine times, he's fought to be in this position, this pedestal, this throne.
#13 Verratti - he's the last house plant that you have not been watering and he's not dry up or dry out, he holds it down in the midfield.
#12 Florenzi - 29 years old, position swap and he's in that category allocation, Italians are on this stock increase right now, moving in the correct trajectory, you can dominate a midfield, you can get in behind, give skill moves, left right and center. if you want to go to Syria, you have more options and more depth than any other FIFA installment.
#11 Kevin De Bruyne - taste concerns, that's the issue, everything else is solid. in real life, you would also take KDB over having Bruno Fernandez. there's a certain leadership essence of quality behind KDB, but this year is not his top performer or that premium quality that we're used to seeing, but he's still upper echelon.
#9 Aouar - we've got a lot of discussions around this FUT item on where should he be and what's his best position. if you are running something narrow, he could be one of those overlappers or track backers. he gives you a lot of variety, depth, and versatility.
#8 Iniesta - he’s great with the movement, the passing, the precision, the touches, the general feel, the presence, the quick turning, the innovation, the creative orchestration.
#7 Pogba - He’s got a big body type. in the actual gameplay this year, a lot of people online had concerns with some of his turning or how he almost feels as if he's tip over his balance, just doesn't feel that clean or that crisp and it's a combination of his height and his body and his build. but he still has to be highly regarded, there's no denying that.
#6 Kimmich - he's a bigger and more viable Kante with better offensive characteristics that are undeniable.
#5 Wijnaldum - from the beginning of this year's installment, his upgrades have also been consistent. every single FUT item that he's got up to this point has not shifted. you're also getting a steal, even though it's not being taken into consideration of the ranking. this is not a value countdown, he is priced to be impactful and to be affordable and he's also in the premier league.
#4 Goretzka - he's been on the helpers, in the right ways body type. this is one of those crazy FUT items that got all the upgrades in the right place. it's still a little bit stiff, but he commands what's happening. and he's able to really impact the ship or direct the ship in the midfield. he's got a big body type, using as a holding mid or even a traditional box to box, he's going to fit into the majority of FUT equations or squad building tactical and personnel alignments.
#3 Sanches - we've seen him at the competitive level, the intermediate level, the beginner level, no one can deny his greatness, which it’s also how special this player is and his FUT item is in particular specifically with what he's been able to accomplish, fits meta, oozes of the meta.
#2 Acuña - his passing, facilitation, breaking up the plays, even the body type for a center mid being a little bit thicker if you're not really tall makes a difference. it impacts how you're felt. even your height to certain degrees or winning some of the 50 50s, getting a leg onto an interception, having a battle with an aerial pursuit. Acuña has everything.
#1 De Jong - last year when we saw some of these major upgrades and his influence and how he was able to be offensively so gifted, but then chase back, and the quick touches especially for center mids that are kind of needed to elevate your attack, create space, unlock windows, give you the element of surprise. the unexpected, this man has the “IT” factor.
