ARC Raiders Riven Tides Release Date, Map Location, Condition, Enemies and More

四月 15, 2026 ARC Raiders Guide

Riven Tides is a highly anticipated major update for ARC Raiders, which is set to bring a wealth of new content, including a brand-new coastal map, powerful new enemies, unique map conditions, and much more. This ariticle covers ARC Raiders Riven Tides release date and new map content (location, condition, loot, and more).

ARC Raiders Riven Tides Update Release Date & New Map

Embark Studios has confirmed that the ARC Raiders Riven Tides update will launch at the end of April 2026, with a most potential release date of April 28, 2026. This information comes directly from Embark’s official communications, including in-game patch notes and newsletter teasers. The studio has been building excitement for months by dropping “breadcrumbs” (small clues) in previous updates, especially the Flashpoint update, which quietly set the stage for Riven Tides.

In the weeks leading up to the release, Embark will not roll out any major patches—only weekly store rotations. This is to ensure the team can focus on polishing the new map and content, making sure the update runs smoothly for all players on launch day. A reminder: the High Gain Antenna in-game project will expire before Riven Tides goes live, so be sure to complete it if you haven’t already.

ARC Raiders Riven Tides Map Location

The location of the Riven Tides map has been hinted at through clues from Embark, especially after the Flashpoint update. It is believed to be in the bottom-left corner of the world map, south of the Buried City and close to Volcano Rise. These hints include a beachfront hotel note in English and Italian, a burned hotel door hanger, a hotel room key, a crane operator key, and a picture of ruined coastal buildings, with sticky notes directly marking the location.

Riven Tides is a coastal, ruined zone that was once connected to Buried City via highways and a railway; these paths end at broken structures in the water, believed to be the remains of a collapsed bridge that has since isolated the area. The map’s look comes from early coastal concept art, showing stormy waters, damaged buildings, and industrial elements like cranes; while the art is old, Embark has used similar early designs for existing maps such as Spaceport and Buried City.

As a coastal battleground where ruined cities meet the ocean, Riven Tides presents a stark contrast to the game’s existing maps. Early concept art shows a map with diverse environments, including a ringed coastal city (shaped like a flower extending into the water), grassy hills, underground caves, and partially submerged structures. The map is designed to be highly vertical, with plenty of opportunities for zip lines and snap hook traversal—this verticality will add a new layer of strategy to gameplay, as players can use elevation to scout enemies, set up ambushes, or escape danger. Additionally, the map features a mix of open coastal areas and tight indoor spaces, creating varied combat scenarios.

ARC Raiders Riven Tides Map Hotel

The most prominent POI in Riven Tides is the Panorama Azzurro Hotel—a ruined beachfront resort that is still standing despite heavy damage. According to Embark’s newsletter teasers (called “Riven Tides Field Observation”), the hotel still has disco posters on its walls, and its stairs are so unstable that scouts fear they might crumble. The hotel has a locked room, which likely requires a key to access.

ARC Raiders Riven Tides New Enemy & Arc

Riven Tides will introduce a new large ARC enemy, it is much larger and more powerful than smaller ARCs like the Vaporizer or Rocketeer, and it will likely require a coordinated team to defeat. Embark has compared this new ARC to the Matriarch or Queen—two of the game’s most challenging bosses.

While specific details about the boss’s abilities are not yet confirmed, the Flashpoint update gives us a hint: Embark adjusted spawn rates, loot density, and enemy pressure to make the game more challenging. This suggests the new boss will be designed to break “veteran autopilot” and force players to adapt their strategies. The boss may also be tied to the map’s coastal theme—perhaps it has water-based attacks or can traverse submerged areas.

In addition to the ARC, the update may include other new enemies, but Embark has not yet revealed their details.

ARC Raiders Riven Tides New Map Condition

Riven Tides will feature a brand-new map condition, teased by a lightning bolt/thunderstorm icon in Embark’s roadmap. While the exact effects are not confirmed, it is likely related to the map’s coastal environment. One theory is that it will be an updated version of the electromagnetic storm, but with a maritime twist—possibly causing rain, high winds, or reduced visibility. Map conditions in ARC Raiders often change gameplay dynamics, so players should prepare for new challenges. For example, if the condition involves heavy rain, long-range visibility may be reduced, making close-quarters combat more common. If it includes lightning, players may need to avoid open areas or metal structures to avoid damage.

ARC Raiders Riven Tides Map Loot to Expect

While exact loot locations are not yet confirmed, clues from in-game notes and concept art give us a good idea of what to look for in Riven Tides:

  • Keys: Two types of keys have been teased: a hotel room key (for Room 204 of the Panorama Azzurro Hotel) and a crane operator’s key (likely for the offshore platform). These keys will unlock restricted areas with high-value ARC Raiders loot.

  • Residential Supplies: Notes on the in-game map board mention cleaning supplies and chemical components—these may be used for crafting or upgrading gear.

  • High-Risk Loot Zones: The partially submerged rocket and offshore platform are likely to have rare loot, but they will also be heavily guarded by enemies.

  • Standard Loot: As with other maps, players can expect to find weapons, ammo, and healing items (like bandages) scattered throughout the map. However, loot density may be adjusted to match the update’s more challenging gameplay.

Embark has also hinted that the map’s loot will be tied to its lore—for example, the Panorama Azzurro Hotel may have loot related to its former life as a resort, while the offshore platform may have industrial or military-grade gear.
