There are new map events, a complete rework of map affixes and waystones, many new passive tree options, and a system that lets you engage with endgame content at your pace and difficulty. Uber versions of new campaign bosses are integrated into the Atlas, dropping powerful new items and support gems. In this guide, we are going to update the new PoE 2 Atlas Passive Skill Build Strategies for progressing fast and mapping effectively at different game stages!

PoE 2 0.3 Best Atlas Passive Skill Tree Guide for Progression & Farming

First of all, let's review all the main changes to the atlas and map in Path of Exile 2 0.3.0 Patch that will affect your atlas build and map setup in The Third Edict:

Atlas Passive Tree & Map Changes in Path of Exile 2 0.3.0 Patch

  • The Detailed Records Expedition Notable Passive Skill now provides +1 to Level of Expedition Logbooks found in your Maps, and Expedition Logbooks found in your Maps always have 4 Implicit Modifiers (previously 3). It no longer provides 30% increased Quantity of Logbooks dropped by Runic Monsters in your Maps.

  • The He Approaches Ritual Notable Passive Skill now provides Revived Monsters from Ritual Altars in your Maps have 40% increased chance to Magic/Rare (previously 20%). It no longer causes Ritual Favours in your Maps to have a 30% increased chance to contain an Audience with the King.

  • As a result of the endgame changes, the corresponding Atlas Passive Trees no longer affects the difficulty of the content, and has been changed to purely affect the content in the Maps on the Atlas.

  • The Arbiter of Ash Atlas Passive Skill Tree has been removed, and some of the bonuses have become inherent to The Arbiter of Ash's drops.

  • Added a Uber version of The Arbiter of Ash Boss fight, which requires the new Calamity Fragments to access. These are obtained from Citadel Bosses, but only once you've allocated the maximum number of points in your Boss Atlas Passive Tree, ensuring those Citadels are at their highest difficulty.

  • Acquiring Map Boss Atlas Passive points has been adjusted.

  • Mysterious anomalies can now appear on the Atlas.

PoE 2 0.3 Fast Atlas Progression & Map Waystone T15 Strategy (Early Endgame)

Progressing and mapping through the Atlas efficiently in Path of Exile 2 0.3.0 Patch - The Third Edict still requires a blend of map management, mechanical tricks, and good planning. This guide combines practical campaign tips, mechanical shortcuts, and mapping strategies to help you accelerate your early endgame experience.

How To Quickly Get 40 Atlas Points for Endgame Farming in PoE 2 0.3?

First of all, you should earn your first 40 Atlas points for reaching endgame in Path of Exile 2. This is your gateway to boosting loot and experience, and it sets up your account for long-term farming success. Here we guide you to push through the Atlas efficiently and set up for optimal endgame mapping and farming, step by step:

Step 1: Focus on Corrupted Zones for Fast Atlas Points

Once you enter the Atlas, your first major goal is to find and clear corrupted zones. These areas are easy to spot and contain a nexus. Completing a corrupted nexus map not only cleanses the maps around it but also grants five Atlas points per completion. You’ll need to do this about six times to secure your first 30 Atlas points.

PoE 2 0.3 Best Atlas Progression Strategy - 1-20 Atlas Farming

While progressing, you’ll notice that these cleansed areas make adjacent maps more lucrative, so it’s worth prioritizing them. Each time you finish a corrupted nexus, you get a big step closer to your goal.

Step 2: Collect Unique Maps for the Final Points

After you’ve cleared enough corrupted zones, the last 10 Atlas points come from a different source: unique maps. These are scattered around the Atlas, and you need to finish five distinct ones. Look for maps like the Wildwood and others labeled as unique. Exploring and clearing these will bring your total up to 40 points.

PoE 2 0.3 Best Atlas Progression Strategy - 40 Atlas Farming

Step 3: Use Towers and Tablets for Faster Progress

Towers play a vital role in vision and progression. By capturing towers, you reveal more of the Atlas, making it easier to spot corrupted zones and unique maps. Don’t forget to insert any tablets you find into towers—these add extra mechanics, item quantity, and map rarity, helping you get more rewards and progression per map.

Don’t worry too much about what specific tablets you use early on; just insert whatever you have for extra loot and experience. This helps you keep moving forward without overthinking map setup.

Step 4: Efficient Map Rolling and Upgrades

For every map you run, always use transmutation and augmentation orbs at a minimum. If regals are cheap, regal every map too. It’s not recommended to use exalted orbs on lower-tier maps since the returns aren’t great until you reach higher tiers.

Higher-tier maps are obtained by completing boss maps. Each time you finish a boss map, you’ll be rewarded with a map of the next higher tier, up to tier 15. Boss tablets can help guarantee boss maps around you, making progression even smoother.

When running corrupted nexuses, always use the lowest tier and the easiest modifiers possible to avoid failure—you can’t retry a failed corrupted nexus, so playing it safe here speeds up your path to 40 points.

Step 5: Sustain and Upgrade Maps

Doriani’s shop is an excellent resource for sustaining your map pool. He always offers maps one tier below your highest completed. Buy these as needed and use the reforging bench (available from Act 3) to upgrade them to higher tiers. This ensures you never run out of maps while pushing through the Atlas.

Step 6: Planning for Endgame

Once you’ve reached 40 Atlas points, you can start building your Atlas tree for endgame mapping. Prioritize mechanics like strongboxes and essences. Strongboxes yield valuable currency and crafting items, while essences can be sold for a lot or used to craft your own gear, especially now that some essences fetch one or two divines.

When juicing maps, use alchemy orbs and regals to get your maps to six mods. Then use zelium orbs or similar currency for extra rare monsters and loot, according to your budget. Overlapping two or more towers in corrupted or cleansed zones can provide substantial quantity and rarity boosts, leading to high-density, high-reward maps.

How To Upgrade Waystone Tier To T15 Map in PoE 2 0.3?

To enter the endgame farming, you should also upgrade your map waystone after completing the campaign. Here's our step-by-step guide on the fast progression from early mapping all the way to reaching tier 15 maps:

1. Getting Started: First Steps After Campaign

After finishing the campaign, you’ll be ready to dive into the endgame maps. Start by collecting a set of tier 1 waystones, which allow you to open and run the first tier of maps. Your initial goal is to push map tiers higher, progressing towards tier 15 for the best loot and rewards.

You’ll find your starting spirit from the campaign and then continue to increase it through equipment—amulets and body armor are the main sources for most classes. For tactician builds, spirit reservation is especially strong, letting you use more buffs and skills at once.

2. Core Progression: Upgrading Waystones

The main methods to upgrade your waystones are:

  • Defeating Map Bosses: Each time you beat a boss in a map, you’re likely to obtain a waystone of a higher tier. For example, running a tier 2 map and defeating its boss should grant you a tier 3 waystone.

  • Using the Reforging Bench: Combine three waystones of the same tier at the reforging bench to create one waystone of the next higher tier. This is especially useful for skipping tiers or getting unstuck if you’re lacking a higher tier stone.

  • Purchasing from Doriani: Doriani’s shop always sells maps/waystones one or two tiers below your highest completed. You can buy these and upgrade them at the bench.

A fast way to climb is to use the reforging bench in tandem with boss drops. For example, combine three tier 2 waystones for a tier 3, then run the tier 3 map and defeat the boss for a tier 4, and so on. If you have enough Path of Exile 2 currency, you can even buy lower-tier stones in bulk and quickly upgrade them at the bench.

3. Strategic Boss Rushing

To maximize your tier progression, focus on rushing bosses within maps. There’s no need to clear every monster—just head straight for the boss, defeat it, and collect your waystone drop. On maps with both elites and bosses, it’s wise to prioritize elites first, since they can drop waystones as well, providing insurance if you struggle with the boss fight.

Additionally, using precursor tablets in towers will transform nearby maps into boss maps, giving you more opportunities for higher-tier waystone drops within a small area. This is a powerful shortcut for pushing through map tiers.

4. Map and Tablet Management

  • Tablet Usage: Drop precursor tablets (especially those that add bosses) into towers. This will turn surrounding maps into boss maps, giving you clustered opportunities to farm waystones.

  • Corrupting Waystones: You can corrupt waystones for additional modifiers, but the main value comes from combining and upgrading them at the bench.

  • Map Selection: If you’re struggling on a particular map, choose easier maps for boss fights to avoid losing valuable attempts or waystones.

5. Tips for Faster Advancement

  • Bulk Upgrades: Don’t be afraid to bulk-buy lower-tier waystones from Doriani, combine them at the bench, and skip directly to higher tiers. This method allows you to quickly reach maps that drop better loot.

  • Prioritize Resistances and Defenses: As you move into higher tiers, make sure your resistances are capped at 75% and that your defenses (evasion, armor, or energy shield) are in a good place. This prevents unnecessary deaths and lost progress.

  • Overlap Boss Maps: Use tablets and towers to create areas where multiple boss maps overlap, maximizing your waystone farm per run.

6. Reaching Tier 15 and Beyond

By following these steps, you’ll move from tier 1 to tier 15 maps efficiently:

  1. Run maps and defeat bosses to upgrade waystones.

  2. Use the reforging bench to combine waystones and skip ahead.

  3. Buy extra waystones from Doriani as needed.

  4. Use precursor tablets in towers to flood areas with boss maps for rapid upgrades.

  5. Always prioritize boss and elite kills over full map clears for faster waystone gains.

  6. If you die or lose attempts on a tough map, simply buy and upgrade more waystones to keep progressing.

Once you reach tier 15, Doriani will start offering tier 14 waystones, ensuring you have a reliable way to sustain high-tier maps.

PoE 2 0.3 Abyss Atlas Tree Build Strategy for Early Endgame Currency Farming

Abyss farming is a reliable way to generate currency in Path of Exile 2, especially with the changes in patch 0.3. Below, we walk you through the method step-by-step, focusing on map preparation, modifiers, and in-map strategies for consistent results.

1. Setting Up Your Maps

To start, gather maps and obtain Preserve Vertebrae. These can be slammed onto your maps to add Abyss-related modifiers. The goal is to hit prefixes, which can then be unveiled at the Well of Souls for valuable bonuses.

When using the vertebrae, simply slam them onto all your maps. If a map gains a prefix, unveil it at the Well of Souls; if it hits a suffix, skip the unveiling. Prefixes provide valuable modifiers, while suffixes often add negative effects or less desirable bonuses.

Sinestro Necromancy can be used to guarantee a prefix, but at a high cost, around eight exalts per use, so it's not usually worth it for most players.

2. Choosing the Right Modifiers

When unveiling prefixes, focus on modifiers that increase rewards without requiring heavy investment in gear or map rarity. Good options include:

  • Abyssal Boss: Grants a valuable coffer fragment, often worth up to 10 exalts, plus additional map and underground loot.

  • Abyssal Depths: Guarantees a fragment after clearing the Abyssal Vault and provides multiple chests at the end for added rewards.

  • Abyssal Pits: Ensures every Abyss pit in the area grants rewards, meaning more item drops from each run.

Avoid suffixes, as these typically introduce negative effects like grasping vines or damage reduction, which can make the map much harder and less profitable. If you get a suffix, just leave it veiled and run the map as normal.

3. Running the Maps

Preserve Vertebrae are relatively cheap, around 0.25 exalts each. Slam them onto your maps, and if you get a desirable prefix, unveil and run the map. If the result isn’t great, you can still run the map normally without any downside.

For those with stronger builds, consider modifiers that increase map difficulty for more experience or monster density. For standard builds, stick with reward-based prefixes for the best returns.

Modifiers that increase experience gained are particularly valuable, especially in maps like Untainted Paradise, where a high monster count can result in 20-40% experience at higher levels.

4. Overrun Mechanic and Atlas Optimization

The Overrun mechanic combines all monsters in a map's Abyss into one event, resulting in huge monster packs and large XP gains. On the Atlas tree, look for nodes that allow natural spawning of Overrun Abysses, similar to how Breaches work.

PoE 2 0.3 Abyss Atlas Tree Build Strategy for Early Game Currency Farming

A rare but powerful prefix is one that causes the area to be overrun by Abyssal forces. This enables you to run Overrun Abyss on any map, which is especially useful in XP-focused areas like Untainted Paradise. In these maps, you can see massive XP gains depending on the number of pits spawned.

Combining Overrun with other mechanics—like Beyond or strong towers—can further increase rewards, though this requires a more advanced setup.

5. In-Map Tips and Rewards

Once inside your map, follow the Abyss trail and clear all spawned monsters. Overrun Abysses will merge all monsters into the event, creating dense packs and high loot potential.

  • Guaranteed Rewards: If you pick the guaranteed rewards modifier, every pit will drop items, making your runs more profitable.

  • Experience Modifiers: If you're leveling, prioritize XP modifiers and run these on high-monster-density maps for fast progression.

Be mindful of map difficulty, Abyssal modifiers can add significant challenge, so a strong character and well-rolled maps are recommended for the best returns.

6. Investment and Profit

Even with a minimal investment, just the cost of Preserve Vertebrae and basic map rolling—this strategy can yield a high ratio of exalts to investment, especially early in a league. Consistent prefixes like Abyssal Depths and guaranteed pit rewards provide steady currency, while rare boss or overrun modifiers can spike your profits further.

PoE 2 0.3 Delirium & Bridge Atlas Skill Tree Strategy

This currency farming method is based around the efficient use of high-density, high-reward maps by stacking several profitable mechanics in Path of Exile 2 patch 0.3.0. The approach is designed for players with a strong build, as you’ll need enough power to handle heavily buffed maps, Delirium, and Bridge content, plus large packs of monsters. The main idea is to combine different mechanics, gather all drops, and liquidate everything for Exalteds or Divines. This results in a steady stream of loot and currency, with a focus on quantity and variety from multiple sources.

  1. Build Preparation

Before starting, make sure your character is strong enough to run these challenging maps. You’ll need at least the build from the last Die build video, as the farming relies on surviving with only one or two portals. This style of farming is profitable, but you want to avoid dying, so a powerful build is recommended.

  1. Passive Skill Tree

The passive tree should look similar to the previous league since it barely changed. Focus on stacking explicit modifiers and increasing pack size, as well as getting more rare items. Most valuable loot is going to come from rares, and leveling them up lets you grab stable energies, which make maps even stronger.

  1. Choosing Mechanics

This strategy centers on three main mechanics: bridges, delirium, and expedition. For bridges, select passives like interdimensional assault for more bug density, climbing walls for a better chance of bridges, franting invasion for more splinters, and rising fire for extra bug density. In expedition, use time detonations, disturb rest, and detail records, mainly to target logbooks, which at level 80 or higher sell for a lot. In delirium, use nodes like It's Not Real to boost rewards, Get Off My Head for delirium maps, and Is Temping for a chance to generate extra rewards.

  1. Setting Up Voice Tablets

For voices, set up with spoil for higher item quantity and rarity, and organized forces as the most important node. If you can’t reach organized forces, use a voice tablet setup as a placeholder. Beyond Reality can be used if desired, but voice drops usually aren’t a big deal compared to other loot sources.

  1. Atlas Strategy and Turret Placement

On the Atlas, try to find turret overlaps. For example, set up two or three turrets to cover the maps in between, as having more turrets stacks the explicit stats you get from the tablet mods. Each map benefits from buffs, delirium mechanics, and extra rares. The goal is to buff maps as much as possible and run them efficiently.

PoE 2 0.3 Delirium & Bridge Atlas Skill Tree Strategy

  1. Tablet and Mod Selection

When placing tablets in turrets, aim to open all three mod slots. Use tablets from bridges, prioritizing mods for Quantity and Rarity. Buffing explicit stats from these tablets, especially precursor tablets, increases the Quantity they provide. For bridges and simulacrum tablets, Quantity or Rarity mods both work well. For expedition tablets, use Rarity since Quantity does not appear to drop. Stacking these mods across all tablets amplifies your loot.

  1. Map Rolling and Oils

Use T15 maps as a baseline, but T16 maps can also work if you’re farming for bases. Roll maps with alchemy or transmutation and augmentation, then upgrade them with regal and exalted orbs to get the mods you want. If you want to farm simulacrum splinters, don’t use oils. For more rares, use three Paranoia oils, or Grid oil if you want higher rarity. You can use an omen that makes a chaos orb guarantee a rare monster spawn, but it reduces rarity, so use Grid oil to make up for it. Paranoia oil is another option for increasing rare spawns.

  1. Advanced Map Preparation

Corrupting maps for eight mods is possible, though it might lower the map tier. Desecration can be done on maps with Avis for more loot, though it takes more time. Avis is especially valuable, as it drops omens and other high-value items.

  1. Loot and Profit

Running this setup yields lots of loot, including new currency from greater and perfect drops, items from Avis, valuable omens, and bones. Abyss is a major source of valuable omens. Bridges produce the highest numbers of rares, and Delirium works well alongside bridges for extra loot. Expedition gives you logbooks and artifacts, and each mechanic produces splinters and drops that add up quickly. Running lots of maps, piling up loot, and selling it all at once will show you just how profitable this approach is.

PoE 2 0.3 Ritual Atlas Tree & Farming Strategy

This method revolves around maximizing the number and value of rewards from Ritual encounters, especially targeting Omens. By carefully selecting Atlas passives, using the right tablets, and optimizing your ritual rerolls, you can farm Omens efficiently and steadily. The approach is flexible, allowing you to combine it with other mechanics if you wish, but it shines even when you focus solely on Rituals.

1. Build Your Atlas Tree

Ritual-Specific Passives

  • Spreading Darkness: Take this for four ritual altars per map, which greatly increases your tribute income and gives you more options per map.

  • Tempting Offers: This grants additional ritual altars in your maps and allows you to reroll favors twice per map. With this, you can double your chances of seeing high-value Omens, and rerolling favors also costs 25% less tribute.

  • Ominous Portance: An absolute must-have. It causes ritual favors in your maps to have 100% increased chance to be Omens, which is the main currency target in this setup.

  • Promise Devotion: This passive makes deferred items reappear sooner and reduces the tribute needed to defer by 50%. This is a huge bonus for getting valuable Omens at a much lower cost.

PoE 2 0.3 Best Ritual Atlas Tree & Farming Strategy

Focus on nodes that increase pack size and the effect of explicit modifiers on your waystones. More monsters in your maps mean more tribute and more chances for Omens. You can drop some pack size nodes for essences or strongboxes if you prefer, but maximizing pack size generally yields better results for Ritual.

2. Tablet and Waystone Setup

Tablet Choice

  • Freedom of Faith: This is a key tablet, allowing you to reroll ritual favors twice as many times per map. It’s affordable and essential for maximizing Omen opportunities.

  • Ritual Tablets for Omens: Stack tablets that increase the chance for ritual favors in your maps to be Omens (aim for 20–25%, but don’t overpay). Also, use tablets that increase the spawn rate of rare monsters, which boost tribute income.

  • Visions of Paradise (Optional): If you have the budget, this tablet lets you farm the same maps multiple times by applying irradiation status, so you can clear and re-run maps for extra profit. Activate it with Freedom of Faith and ritual tablets at your first tower, clear maps, then use the next towers to reapply irradiation and repeat.

Waystone Setup

  • Liquid Paranoia: Use this for more rare monsters in maps, further increasing tribute.

  • Diluted Liquid Guild: As an alternative, this increases pack size for more monsters.

  • Preserved Vertebra: Use this on your waystones for an extra free bonus.

  • General Tip: Aim for at least four modifiers per map by clicking your waystones multiple times.

3. Running the Maps and Rituals

  1. Clear All Rituals First: Always clear all the monsters and rituals in your map before interacting with the altars. This ensures maximum tribute and reward potential.

  2. Check Rewards Carefully: When opening rituals, quickly scan for valuable Omens or good rare items. Prioritize deferring high-value Omens (like homogenizing, dexter raier, wheatling, and amilaration), as well as rares worth using or selling.

  3. Defer, Don’t Buy Out Immediately: Deferring is much cheaper than buying outright. Reroll your rewards and continue deferring valuable items over multiple maps to eventually acquire them at a discount.

  4. Reroll as Much as Possible: Use all your rerolls for each map to maximize your chance at valuable Omens.

  5. Buy Out When Out of Rerolls: Once you have no rerolls left, start buying out the most valuable items, then defer any lesser items as your tribute allows.

4. Maximizing Profits

  • Focus on Omens: Omens such as homogenizing, wheatling, dexter raier, and amilaration can command high prices. Check their values regularly and prioritize deferring or buying these.

  • Sell or Use Valuable Rares: Good rare items from rituals can be used for crafting or sold for extra profit.

  • Combine with Other Mechanics: Ritual can be combined with other map mechanics like Expedition or Breach for even more loot, but works well on its own.

  • Adjust Map Mods: If your build struggles, avoid stacking too many difficult modifiers from waystones or tablets.

PoE 2 0.3 Expedition Logbook Atlas Tree & Farming Strategy

Expedition Logbooks in PoE 2 0.3 are a hidden gem for currency farming, offering steady profits and flexible difficulty. With the latest changes, logbooks are more accessible than ever, and their rewards can rival or exceed most other mechanics. You can expect to make six to twelve divines per hour, depending on RNG and your efficiency, with the added bonus of frequent jackpot drops.

1. Understanding Logbooks and the Atlas Tree

Why Farm Logbooks?

Logbooks cost around 10 to 15 exalts for level 80+ versions, but the returns are well above that—double, triple, or more per logbook is common. Each run takes about 4–5 minutes, and even without major luck, six to ten divines per hour is typical.

You also have full control over the difficulty. Logbooks can be made very easy, or pushed to be some of the hardest content in the game, depending on how you chain remnants and modifiers.

Atlas Tree Setup

Recent Expedition updates changed how Atlas passives work:

PoE 2 0.3 Expedition Logbook Atlas Tree & Farming Strategy

  • Detailed Records: This new node gives logbooks you find in maps +1 level and four implicit modifiers. The small passive points now offer 40% increased logbook drops from maps.

  • More Logbooks, Less Hassle: With the Atlas tree focused on logbook chance, you’ll find a lot more logbooks each league. Standard expedition passives now scale pack size, monster count, and coin drops, with coins worth about an exalt each.

While Atlas passives increase your logbook drops from mapping, you don’t need any points in the tree to actually run logbooks themselves. They only affect map farming, not logbook content.

2. Choosing and Evaluating Logbooks

What Makes a Good Logbook?

  • Number of Implicit Modifiers: Always look for four implicit logbooks.

  • Best Implicits: Prioritize modifiers like increased number of explosives, explosive radius, and placement range. More explosives means more rewards.

  • Key Areas:

    • Lush Isle: Top choice, with side areas that contain strongboxes loaded with currency. These regularly drop divine orbs, exalted orbs, and other high-value loot.

    • Baron Atoll: Great for a massive gold haul and lots of strongboxes. Run a couple if you need gold.

    • Frigid Bluffs: Spawns many map bosses with big quantity/rarity scaling. These can drop divines, high-level gems, and rare items worth several divines.

  • Other Valuable Implicits: Additional underground areas (more chests, more loot), chests with a chance to drop double items (20% or so), and remnants that boost currency or artifact drops.

3. Running Logbooks Efficiently

Planning Your Explosives

  1. Survey the Map: When you enter a logbook, check for all the important markers:

    • Glowing blue/white circles: Underground areas, best exploded later in your chain for maximum inherited bonuses.

    • Chaos orb marker: Expedition chests with currency.

    • Triscalian marker: Expedition chests with artifacts.

    • Scottish flag (blue/white X): In Lush Isle, these mark the best side areas; in Frigid Bluffs, they mark bosses; in Baron Atoll, they mark gold hauls.

  2. Chain Remnants: Route your explosions to hit as many beneficial remnants as possible before hitting your main rewards. Prioritize remnants that increase rarity, quantity, artifact drops, or double chest contents.

  3. Artifact Farming: Artifacts are used to fight the Expedition boss. Each logbook can yield 35–110+ runic splinters, and these fragments can add up to several exalts or more per book.

Handling Encounters

  • Adjust Difficulty: Avoid modifiers that would make monsters immune to your main damage type, or that would make them unreasonably tanky for your build.

  • Clear Carefully: Follow your explosion chain, clearing monsters as you go. The end of the chain may have tougher packs depending on your chosen remnants.

  • Loot on the Go: Pick up valuable currencies and items as you move, but be careful not to get swarmed or killed while distracted.

4. Profit Analysis and Optimization

  • Currency Hauls: From a single logbook, expect to pull tens of exalts' worth of currency, including runic splinters, exotic coins, and direct drops like divine orbs.

  • Raw Divines and Jackpots: Logbooks are a top source for raw divine orbs and can yield massive rare item drops, especially from Frigid Bluffs.

  • Evaluating Rares: Take the time to price-check high-tier rare items, as some can sell for several divines, adding even more profit.

5. Farming Routine

  1. Farm Maps with Expedition Atlas Passives: Ping-pong between running maps for logbooks and running logbooks for profit.

  2. Buy Four-Implicit, High-Explosive Logbooks: If supply is low, supplement your farm by purchasing good logbooks from other players.

  3. Run Lush Isle for Currency: Focus on these for the best consistent returns.

  4. Run Frigid Bluffs and Baron Atoll for Bosses and Gold: Mix in these if you want to chase big rare drops or need gold.

  5. Sell or Use Artifacts and Coins: Artifacts fuel Expedition boss fights, which can also be profitable.

PoE 2 0.3 Atlas Tree Build Strategy for Endgame Farming

This endgame Atlas tree setup shared by the famous PoE YouTuber GhazzyTV is designed for steady profit and smooth gameplay in Path of Exile 2, patch 0.3. The strategy is built from experience and testing various approaches to see what consistently brings in currency and useful drops. Rather than chasing rare drops or trying to force niche mechanics, the focus is on maximizing returns from essences, chests, and white or magic bases that are popular for crafting. The overall plan is to build for reliable loot and crafting materials, making map runs efficient and rewarding.

POE 2 0.3 Best Endgame Atlas Tree Strategy

  1. Avoiding Rogue Exile Focus

Early experimentation with focusing on rogue exiles, especially around abyss nodes, produced disappointing results. Picking up every exile node didn’t bring any real benefit and wasn’t enjoyable or profitable. This part of the Atlas is best skipped entirely.

  1. Keeping Local Knowledge and Treasure Coves

Local knowledge is kept mostly as a personal preference, though it’s not the most rewarding node. On the right side of the tree, treasure coves are included because chests and essences both scale well with profit. Chests are valuable sources of loot, especially with the right modifiers.

  1. Managing Waystones

One issue encountered was a lack of waystones, which led to picking up constant crossroads quantity way stones. The rarity of waystones is also increased, as alchemy orbs were running low and weren’t dropping often. Increasing both the quantity and rarity of waystones makes map rolling easier and more profitable. Tier upgrades for waystones are also picked up, although the drop rate for tier 15 maps is already fairly regular.

  1. Rolling and Corrupting Maps

The approach to maps is to use alchemy on white maps, augment and regal the others, and corrupt every map. This method, combined with increased waystone drops, feels good and keeps the map pool healthy.

  1. Focusing on Essences

Essences are a major part of the tree. Every essence node is selected, and while some may be worth more than others, the general goal is to maximize essence drops. When a monster is possessed by a sacred spirit, it also gets another random spirit, which can lead to extra rewards. Nodes are picked that replace modifiers with essences or give a chance for modifiers to become essences. This floods maps with essences, which are highly valuable for crafting in the current game state.

  1. Increasing Rare and Magic Monster Density

Increasing the number of rare and magic monsters is a priority, as they give more experience and more loot. Twin threats are added for an extra rare in each map, along with bountiful bloodlines for more magic monsters and extra magic pack size in new maps.

  1. Amplifying Strongboxes

Strongboxes are another focus, with more box nodes picked up to combine well with treasure coves. This further increases the amount of white and blue bases found, which are in demand for crafting.

  1. Skipping Less Useful Nodes

Certain nodes, such as those related to exiles or less profitable mechanics, are skipped. If there’s a need for more box nodes or more chances to find essences, those can be added instead, but the main tree prioritizes essences and strongboxes.

  1. Focusing on Base Drops Over Rares

The strategy is built around dropping white and magic bases, which are much more valuable for crafting than hoping for rare items with perfect mods. Most of the profit comes from these bases and from steady essence farming, rather than chasing rare loot.

  1. Spirit Mechanics and Build Interaction

While spirit mechanics can be strong, they are skipped here due to the interaction with the chosen build, where rare monsters often die before spirits can reach them. This makes the spirit mechanic less effective and not worth the investment for this setup.
