There are more than 20 new unique items that have been added to the Path of Exile Secrets of the Atlas league. What are the most powerful ones to use in the game? In this article, we are going to introduce some of the best unique items in PoE 3.26 and the method to farm guaranteed uniques.
Best New Unique Items in PoE 3.26
The strength of unique items in Path of Exile is not only determined by their attributes, but also related to the way you use them, specific builds can maximize their functions.
Enmity's Embrace Vermillion Ring
Enmity's Embrace provides massive fire damage penetration; its damage penetrates fire resistance equal to your overcapped fire resistance, which incentivizes stacking fire resistance beyond the usual cap. By stacking fire resistance well beyond 75%, you gain extra fire penetration on your damage, which can more than double your effective damage output against enemies with high fire resistance.
However, the ring reduces your fire resistance by a large percentage, about 65-55%. This multiplies all your fire resistance sources by about 45%, meaning if you had 40% fire resistance, you effectively only get around 18%. This is a severe drawback, but it forces you to stack fire resistance even higher to compensate. To get this unique item, you need to farm the Incarnation of Fear, a new pinnacle boss introduced in patch 3.26.
When it comes to the best builds for Enmity's Embrace, it is recommended to use Chieftain ascendancy because it naturally supports fire damage, life, and fire resistance stacking. Chieftain nodes provide strong bonuses to fire damage and survivability, which helps to offset the drawbacks of the ring. Choose the Volcanic Fisher of Snaking skill, its slow attacks reduce the fire damage taken on skill use, also means less frequent self-inflicted fire damage. The skill deals substantial fire damage, which benefits greatly from the fire penetration. Avoid fast-spamming Skills since Enmity’s Embrace punishes skill use with fire damage, builds that spam many skills rapidly, or use many triggered skills suffer heavily. Gear-wise, stack fire resistance as high as possible (way beyond 75%) to maximize the penetration. Consider items like Mageblood to boost your fire resistance even further. Use curses and other sources like Wave of Conviction to further reduce enemy fire resistance, stacking multiplicative penetration effects.
Betrayal’s Sting Steel Ring
Betrayal’s Sting is one of the best rings for poison-focused, physical-attack builds in PoE 3.26, especially when paired with ascendancies like Trickster, Assassin, or Deadeye. It significantly boosts poison damage by granting a 25–40% chance to inflict an additional poison on the same target whenever you apply poison, effectively multiplying poison stacks and damage over time. It also adds flat physical damage to attacks and provides a substantial Dexterity bonus, enhancing accuracy, evasion, and damage scaling. Although it reduces elemental resistances by 20–30%, this drawback is offset by a strong 20–30% boost to chaos resistance, along with a helpful 5% increased movement speed for improved mobility.
To mitigate the elemental resistance penalty on Betrayal’s Sting, you can use flasks that grant elemental resistance, invest in passive skill tree nodes or gear that boosts elemental resistances, and benefit from the ring’s substantial chaos resistance bonus. This trade-off is generally worthwhile since poison deals chaos damage over time, which typically bypasses elemental resistances, making the reduced elemental resistances less impactful for poison-focused builds.

PoE 3.26 Unique Farming Strat
This method allows you to get one guaranteed unique item per character during your Acts progression by activating special glowing tiles in the Solaris Temple, Lunaris Temple, and Grand Promenade areas. The unique item you get is random, but the drop is 100% guaranteed if you follow the steps correctly. It is an easy way to farm unique items in PoE 3.26 early on, without relying on RNG drops in maps or trading, and also helps jumpstart your gear, especially in SSF leagues.
1. Go to Solaris Temple Level 1 and locate the glowing tile on the floor. Stand on this tile, and you will see 6 flames appear around it. This activates the first part of the hidden unique item mechanic.
2. Head to Lunaris Temple Level 1 and find the glowing tile there. Stand on it to activate the second part, which causes another 6 flames to appear, bringing the total number of flames to 12.
3. After that, proceed to the Grand Promenade area and look for the final glowing tile. When you stand on this tile, a secret door will open, revealing a hidden treasure room.
4. Enter the treasure room and open the chest inside. This chest will give you 1 guaranteed unique item, chosen randomly from a special drop pool. This reward can be claimed once per character.
