Patch 3.26 in Path of Exile introduces new divination cards and farming strategies. While technical glitches have affected some experiences, players are actively testing drop rates, locations, and farming routes to maximize their rewards. Here's a details guide to show where to farm divination cards in the Secrets of the Atlas league and how to effectively farm them.
Patch 3.26 added five new divination cards, each tied to high-value rewards. These cards vary widely in rarity, which has been estimated using the Foustus gold cost system. This system, developed last year, helps assign a value to each card based on how difficult it is to obtain.
The new cards include:
Runic Luck – rewards vendor refresh currency from Expedition. With a gold cost of 550, it's rarer than expected, even more than The Nurse.
The Last Stand – grants The Surrender. The set requires three cards and has a gold cost of 1,150, making it just as rare as The Apothecary.
History – offers two Heenlocks per set of five cards. With a gold cost of 1,850, it's one of the rarest cards in the game, on par with House of Mirrors.
Damnation – rewards Oin’s Scripture and has the same rarity as Father’s Love, with a gold cost of 1,350.
Wind Currents Blaze – grants a 20-quality, single corrupted Stormfire. Its rarity (875 gold cost) suggests Stormfire may be getting special treatment this league, as it's even rarer than Gift of Asenath.
These cards are difficult to target farm due to their rarity, though players have the option if they want to chase specific outcomes.
While the exact maps for the new cards haven't been fully confirmed yet, early observations and testing are beginning to suggest where some might be found. For example, Damnation could be linked to specific maps if the community is correct. As more data comes in, these locations will be easier to pinpoint.
Older divination cards continue to drop in known locations. For example, Seven Years Bad Luck still drops in certain maps, and farming strategies discussed later aim to optimize drop rates in these areas.
Below list of all the Divination Cards by drop map. As of the time of writing this article, the drop locations of the new cards are still unknown, but will be updated here soon.

The drop rate of divination cards in 3.26 varies significantly and is influenced by factors like map tier, modifiers, scarabs, and delirium layers. Using gold cost as a proxy for rarity gives insight into how often you might see a card drop:
A 550 gold cost card like Runic Luck is uncommon.
A card like The Last Stand, at 1,150 gold cost, is comparable in rarity to The Apothecary.
Cards like History and Damnation, with costs over 1,300, are extremely rare and may appear once every dozens of maps or more, depending on how juiced the maps are.
For well-known cards like Seven Years Bad Luck, testing shows that under basic farming conditions, you might get one every 25 maps. However, with efficient map rolling and investment, that rate can be improved significantly.
Below we share some effective Div Card farming strats you can take a try in PoE 3.26 league now:
A highly efficient farming method involves running what some players call "T16.5" maps. These are near T17 difficulty but offer better loot and more flexibility. In one 20-map test, a player used a strategy including:
3 Plentiful and 2 Lineage Scarabs per map
Full map juicing with chisels and delirium orbs
Targeting modifiers that increase currency, scarabs, and map drops
Running maps with 100% delirium when possible
This setup produced:
83 gigantic scarabs
Multiple valuable divination cards, including 4 Seven Years Bad Luck cards
T17 map drops, which hold good value
By increasing quantity through delirium and proper gear, the drop rate for Seven Years Bad Luck went from 1 in 25 maps to about 1 in 8. With full optimization, including party play and quantity gear, it's possible to reach about 1 in 5 maps.
These maps have dense monster packs and high loot per hour potential. One player reported 3 million gold per hour, with each map taking roughly 3 minutes to complete—faster than T17s, which are more difficult and slower to run.
Buttons inside the maps sometimes offer buffs or loot bonuses, but their impact varies. Clicking strong altar mods and maximizing juice is key to sustaining profitability, especially given the cost of running these maps with scarabs and delirium orbs.
The Harbinger farming strategy focuses on generating steady currency and the potential for valuable divination cards such as Original Sin, Enlighten Level 3. and Mirror Shards. This approach centers on running maps with high monster pack sizes to maximize Harbinger density, combined with Beyond to increase divination card drops. Using a tanky and powerful build with around 15-20 divine investment helps sustain the intense map encounters. Basilica is a favored map due to its clean layout and efficiency for running numerous maps. The strategy relies on stacking Harbinger scarabs and map modifiers to boost monster packs and loot explosions, increasing the chances to drop high-value divination cards while maintaining consistent currency income.
How to Set Up the Harbinger Atlas Tree for Div Card Farming:
Choose the right map: Basilica is recommended for its clean and tight layout, helping with efficient runs and high-density encounters.
Roll maps for high monster pack size: Pack size directly boosts Harbinger density and loot explosions, so aim for maps with high pack size and quantity.
Use eight modded maps if possible: Eight mods on maps significantly increase monster count and improve the effectiveness of Harbingers.
Apply Harbinger scarabs: Use three Harbinger Scarabs, one Harbinger Regency Scarab, and one Harbinger Warhorde Scarab to maximize the number and quality of Harbingers.
Mod the map with Harbinger on the map device: Spend three chaos orbs to add Harbinger as a map modifier for consistent Harbinger encounters.
Complete Maven quest chain and first T17 map: These unlock two additional scarab slots, allowing full use of all five scarab slots.
Invest in the Atlas passive tree: Take all three Harbinger wheels to increase currency shard drops and boost Harbinger effectiveness.
Spec into Beyond nodes: Take nodes like Swarming Hive for 30% more divination cards from Beyond demons, but avoid spawning Beyond bosses by skipping Torn Veil and taking the keystone that blocks Beyond bosses.
Consider ritual altars: Taking nodes to guarantee four ritual altars per map increases monster count and loot, although running the ritual itself is optional.
Add Eater of Worlds and Divine Drop nodes: These altars add quantity and increase the chance of divine drops, further boosting map rewards.
Use map modifiers to increase the effect of explosive modifiers: This increases pack size and loot explosions for better farming returns.
Optional: Use Nameless Sear to copy divination cards to a preferred tile set: This can allow moving the farming setup to maps like Jungle Valley for a smoother experience and better altar options.
