A huge team is working on Act 4, and a lot of content is available in the background, but during the Early Access period, they have not been completed yet. So, what we are going to talk about today is the PoE 2 Act 4-6 release date and what to expect.
The expected release date of Path of Exile 2 Act 4 is highly discussed among players, especially since the reveal of the 0.2.0 Dawn of the Hunt Update, as the game is still in Early Access with only Acts 1-3 available and no new acts were added in the big patch. GGG stated that by the end of Early Access, the game content will double, which means new classes, ascendancies, items, and game mechanics will gradually be introduced. PoE 2 Act 4 will be a significant addition and is expected to be part of the next PoE 2 0.3 patch/league. Path of Exile 2 may be fully launched between June and December 2025, which is consistent with expectations for the release time of Acts 4-6. The three new acts will replace the current Cruel difficulty, and you can smoothly progress to the endgame content, currently, players are participating in Acts 1-3 of Cruel difficulty to prepare for the end of Atlas.
The previous schedule shows that Act 4 was released a few years after the initial release of Path of Exile 1, but with the release of PoE 2, GGG was committed to developing a more ambitious roadmap. The fourth act disclosed in the PoE 2 0.2.0 patch trailer indicates that the progress of this content is faster than many people expected.
